Tokyo, 19 May 2025 – In a significant step toward deepening bilateral cooperation in the growing space sector, Australian satellite manufacturer Inovor Technologies and Japanese space situational awareness (SSA) service provider Star Signal Solutions Inc. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Embassy of Australia in Tokyo.
The agreement marks a chapter in the Australia–Japan commercial space relationship, aligning complementary capabilities in SSA, space traffic coordination, and satellite communications to provide cutting-edge space-based solutions for government and commercial customers across the Indo-Pacific.

Held in the presence of Australian diplomatic representatives and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), the ceremony underscored the increasing momentum in cross-border business partnerships between the two nations. The MOU paves the way for joint technical development, mission collaboration, and long-term commercial engagement—bringing together Inovor’s advanced small satellite platforms and expertise in SSA, and Star Signal Solutions’ next-generation unique technologies in collision avoidance navigation services.
