Sydney, Australia – October 2025 – Inovor Technologies Pty Ltd and Space BD Inc. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) 2025 in Sydney, marking a new chapter of collaboration between the Australian and Japanese space industries.
Strengthening Australia-Japan Collaboration in the Commercial Space Sector
The MOU outlines a shared commitment to explore commercial business opportunities for the prospective sale and supply of subsystems and units by Inovor Technologies to Space BD, and launch services supported by Space BD to Inovor Technologies.
Through this partnership, the two companies will cooperate in good faith to identify and develop mutually beneficial opportunities — including the exchange of technical and commercial information, joint discussions with key stakeholders, and exploration of future programs and contracts. The MOU serves as a foundation for deeper collaboration through future definitive agreements.
